Douglas County Open Studios is launched
November 25, 2007: To complement the annual Lawrence ArtWalk held in
Lawrence at the end of every October, the Douglas County Open Studios event has
been created to feature artists' studios located elsewhere in the county and
scheduled for late April.
100% Rag is launched
November 21, 2006: Lawrence, KS's only online forum dedicated to the visual
arts is launched. It serves as a conduit for artists in the fine and applied
arts and others primarily living or working in Douglas County, KS to discuss
issues concerning the local art scene and, perhaps, as a catalyst for change.
100% Rag was launched under the auspices of The Center For Art, Lawrence, Kansas
